We must be of similar vintages since I'm quite familiar with your references (but didn't care for them). You did a fine job of describing their problems and it appears that they have largely overcome them. I'll keep them in mind if my Infinities die before I do.
I'll definitly be "following" you as finding reviewers with similar priorities is golden. Guess you are my Sam/Tom replacement. How's that for scary?

I appreciate the music you related and used for evaluation. Eva & trinity sessions can indeed sound potentially "hard" on many a system which struggle reproducing the frequency extremes. Too often, people blame the speakers, and/or these particular recordings. In my travels, it's usually the digital/analog front-end which smears ...

Background/backstory introductions can be perceived as fluffy but are necessary pillars for connecting to an audience. If you don't read, watch a movie or TV series (scripted shows).
