Robert Reina has passed away. He will be missed by those who have enjoyed his writing over the years. I may not have always agreed with him but I have always respected his honesty and his writing skills.
When they discover the center of the universe, a lot of people will be disappointed to discover they are not it. ~ Bernard Bailey

A terrible loss. I always liked his reviews and admired his dedication to finding affordable gear. I believe that Bob Reina understood better than anyone that the future of the hobby depends on quality good value products at the entry level. Anyone buying a bookshelf speakers would be well served by first reading his reviews. My condolence and thoughts go out to his family and friends.
.
Regards,
Mike.

Enjoyed his reviews of budget equipment....
Cancer sucks....
Man he looked like a fairly young man. I really hope they can cure Cancer - took my dad and earlier this year a fellow teacher at work (he was 55) and in good shape - hiked, was thin, friendly.
From what I have read about him - I wish I had gotten the chance to meet him.
Wow, that sucks! I thought his writing was some of the best at S'pile. My deepest condolences to his family.
