"JA's knuckle rap test did it."

What "pseudo science"? By "knuckle rap," Mark Korda is referring to the
tests I do on loudspeaker enclosure panel resonances using an accelerometer.
See the article linked to below.

It might not be fair to the readers. Take the Tekton for example, just suppose that issue precluded it from being in 'Class A'.
That would amount to having the automotive quality paint as one of the prerequisites for the inclusion into the Class A.But again, the lowest priced Class A loudspeaker is ten times more expensive than Tekton. He "compared" them (out of memory) to Snell's and Wilson speakers from the 80's. I don't think that's fair, or possible. I think his objection is certain lack of 'warmth.'

What might include or preclude was just a wild example on my part. I'm a long time subscriber, however, would not speculate with any confidence.
Sorry, Ja, I didn't mean to sound flippant.
Just seemed like the poster was hinging a lot on your knuckle rap test when there would seem to be a number of questions for him to consider.
Like its intensity, location, the material, any bracing in proximity to the rap, 1 knuckle or 3, were the speakers mounted according to mfg'er's recommendations, etc. etc.
All of which and more I presume could have a profound effect on one's conclusions.
I realize you're doing this is just one of many tests you perform to round things out, but there probably should be a number of considerations if he is to put so much emphasis on a single characteristic.
