HDTT uses a large and well known email service, constantcontact. This service handles unsubscriptions automatically, if you click the correct link in the bottom of an unwanted email. This will happen automatically without any action by HDTT. I would be very surprised if this didn't work if used correctly, but there might be a delay in stopping the flow of messages, which are probably batched and may take some time to propagate. Of course, it is always possible for the severely computer challenged to have problems following the unsubscribe instructions.

Correct. Some years ago I sent some emails offering constructive criticism of some of his early offerings. On the basis of many email exchanges we developed an email friendship. We continue to exchange emails and occasionally I buy recordings from his web site. This has little to do with your inability to deal with unwanted emails. That is a problem you have due to your inability to configure the filtering options in your Thunderbird email client and your inability to use the "unsubscribe" feature provided by constantcontact.com, who is a supplier of email service to High Definition Tape Transfers and one of the leading suppliers of bulk email service to small businesses like HDTT.
You strike me as the kind of guy who blames his problems on other people rather than dealing with them himself. As such, you have my sympathy. You seem fairly skilled at making yourself angry and/or miserable rather then fixing what needs to be fixed or accepting what can't be fixed.
