I found this remembrance of HP from Paul Greenberg, Pulitzer-winning writer, to be quite charming; picture HP in his salad days in Pine Bluff, living above a feed/seed/ fertilizer store, as always playing his music TOO DAMN LOUD. I wonder about the Grand Old Man of audio as a kid - did he get into the usual scrapes, stealing apples from a neighbor's tree, break a window with a badly-tossed baseball? What lies behind the giant who invented High End Audio?
