I glanced through his Listening, Nov. 2014 and saw no such reference.
Did I miss something?

"The last requirement is the one with which blind testing - a setting in which the participant enjoys the level of calm of a person being interrogated on suspicion of tax evasion or the distribution of child pornography - is least compatible"
Call me politically correct, but reducing the severity of child pornography to tax evasion is wrong. Comparing it to the deleterious effects of listening tests is more wrong. If the line was intended to be humorous that is shameful.

Your usage, coming as it did void of any context, frankly strikes me as the more offensive.
At least Dudley's usage, provocative and arguably ill conceived, was clear. Yours unfortunately was not, amounting to an incongruously bizarre isolated statement.
No offense intended but something like this should be noted. Hopefully most readers will find it ill-conceived and will raise their own objections when they see something similar.

For some reason I got off on the October 2014 issue.
Now I see it, but still think it a bit of a PC stretch to be too hard on him.
Hardly think his comparison amounts to taking child porn lightly, perhaps just the opposite, but that's just my reading of it.
