Great points! Totally agree...get the man a shave and a haircut.
Yes, good sensible associated gear.
I will disagree about one thing. Peter Breuninger video's are embarrassing as far as production qualities. A 14 year old with an iPhone can do better. Really rough. He really has to be kidding in that regard.
Follow Ups:
Spezza;I completely agree with you in that Peter Breuninger's earlier videos were amateurish, especially the ones that were shot "point of view" with a camera strapped to his dome. Peter's latter videos however, have improved a great deal from a technical standpoint - Thankfully!
Getting back to Ron; If your going to take the trouble to do a nicely produced video, then get some casual dress clothing and put it on.
If you look like a pro, you'll have a better chance at being perceived and treated as such.I can recall meeting Geoff Poor from Balanced Audio Technology a couple of years ago at CES and his appearance and demeanor was that of a charismatic fortune 500 CEO. The point being, Geoff cared enough to make a favorable impression as he yucked it up with show attendees while spinning old Cream and Rod Stewart LP's - Not much in the way of chamber music and audiophile approved drivel in the BAT room.

Agree completely on all points.
The head honcho of BAT is my kinda of guy.
Judge for yourself...
Killer job, Peter. I have added GTT Audio to my short-list of dealers/retailers that I must visit!
Sorry Peter, that video is not anywhere near pro quality. No cigar!
Cheers,
Al
Sorry, it looks like home movies. No comparison to the other fellow.
Good content, however. If you think this good production, that is sad.
Um, yeah...
Plenty of rippling & waving video artifacts, and I have a couple of other potentially hurtful comments to add.
But I'll try to be gentle. Here goes:
I found the addition of the soft background music all the while you were interviewing Bill to be quite distracting and equally unnecessary. Opening & end credit tunes are not only fine, but sounded WAAAAAAY better than the audio feed from poor Ron's otherwise superior video.
Also found Peter's accent & voice not entirely up to, ahem!, "broadcast" standards. Had no issues with Ron's voice or mannerisms, even thought his pajamas looked all right on a "Cat"!
Anyways, best of luck with that audio reviewer career, Pete...
Um, Perhaps you meant to reply to Peter?
