Any chance (in speaker reviews) for a 3D plot which shows an RTA/FFT of each tone in a frequency sweep? Height axis is still amplitude; Horizontal axis is still input tone; however, Depth is the real-time-analysis of output.

Every loudspeaker review in Stereophile includes a 3D cumulative spectral-
decay analysis of the farfield response, which is what I think you are
suggesting.

Actually, I'd be comparing input-vs-output. It would show resonant frequencies (inc. THD) like waterfall plots but extend into bass frequencies too. It would also show frequency shifting/drifting. It would also simultaneously quantify just how much does bad resonances color the sound (inc. unwanted acoustic & mechanical enclosure/baffle vibrations).
It just seems like the next-gen diagnostic tool to me.
