Wes's poor health continues, I am afraid. He has spent much of the past
2 years in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers.

John Wes will be in my prayers...
I'm listening to: Melancholy Baby by Jamiee Paul

Central Florida Audio Society -- SETriodes Group -- Space Coast Audio Society
I never post on on "Critics", although, I read it. I am posted because I too have wondered about WP. I've missed his contributions to Stereophile greatly. He had a distinctive voice and to me a certain decency about the man always came through. Not to down play my admiration for the rest of the staff. Best audio magazine in the world. I hope WP recovers fully and can return someday.
I'm sure many who have enjoyed his work would join me in wishing Wes well. It's just too sad that this is happening.

[ass along all our well wishes. i hope he is able to entertain his mind a bit to take the edge off.

With Hifitommy and all the rest. Pray Wes recovers well and is able to enjoy his passions. Miss his contributions to Stereophile.
Best,
Dave
just an English question: "am I late to the party?" when inquiring of someone's poor health; seems a bit jokingly worded, no?
roger wang.
used when someone like me didn't see the signposts that were obvious. i wasn't making light of Wes's current infirmity.
if it seems that i was, i issue a blanket apology for all and any who felt wrong about my remark.

Roger-
is WP really old enough to be placed in a nursing home? Odd?
> is WP really old enough to be placed in a nursing home?
No, but he has had catastrophic problems, such as breaking both ankles,
which required him to learn to walk again once the mechanical damage
had been repaired.

Thanks! for sharing JA. I can hardly await for WP to return to Stereophile.
