The goretex teflon valve stem packing will stretch enough when pulled to rip the wire twisted around it. You need to put in a teflon tube. If the tube is the the type recommended by Chris V. you gained nothing in flexibility Yopu may want to try teflon HS instead. Even with that it will be a rather stiff cable. I would not try to bend it more than a 3" R.

It will be the OD of the tube :-). I just do not know thin is the thin wall. If you are asking about the bending radius, that is a different issue. I can not tell you do the experiment and let us know :-)
