Thanks, D, I'll probably get that thing. I think they have a 30 day return policy.

Acrolink has an 8 outlet device that looks pretty much exactly like the Furutech for about $150. Same box, likely the same clear receptacles, likely not a complete ripoff. I tried to copy and paste the photo but it didn't work. You should be able to fine it by searching for Acrolink 8 outlet... Edit: It's the Acrolink AC80 as low as $120. Looks virtually identical to the Furutech in the photo put up by Duster The "Furutech" product is the TP80

Tweaker, have you ever heard the saying "If something looks too good to be true, it probably is"?Same box? The box looks quite similar. Same material, machining, wiring, and electronics? Not likely.
Likely the same clear receptacles? At $120 for the complete unit, not a chance.
Likely not a complete ripoff? Maybe it isn't. But it has about as much in common with the Furutech unit it so blatantly copies as a power strip from Home Depot. Suggesting this counterfeit branded power strip is an equal to the Furutech for less money is beyond ridiculous.

mage: Fake "Acrolink" branded "Furutech style" knock-off product.
Buyers should be aware of the amount of audio products available on eBay and other online sources that are "fake branded" in order to either fool shoppers who don't look deeper into what they are looking at, or the ignorance of people who might think, "if it looks Hi-Fi, that's all I care about". Buyers should understand that the respected Acrolink name brand is being used as a fake branding tool for a number of audio product knock-offs. Not just for a lookalike counterfeit version of an actual Acrolink product, but for non-existing products and knock-off versions of other products such as various audio connectors, power cords, AC connectors, a Furutech style AC outlet, and a power distributor being fake branded as an Acrolink power distributor, of which Acrolink doesn't have anything to do with. Acrolink simply does not make or sell power distributors, or an AC outlet for that matter.
See link:
Good grief. With the outlet you linked, they rip off Acrolink for the brand name, then rip off Furutech (almost verbatim) for the model designation. Amazing. And disgusting.
