So my nice V-Twist wire and KEI Absolute harmony RCAs arrived today and I was trying to figure out how to attach the wire to those small tags provided. They are u shaped so there little to make a mechanical connection to before soldering. Any suggestions? I don't really want to just stick the wire on with a glob of solder but that looks like my only option. Too bad there isn't a hole in the tag rather than a U. I can't figure out how to get more than one link or pic to show up per post so the wire will follow in next post.

I would give the interconnect wire a 90deg bend, and insert into the u tag as shown in yellow. Next, with needle-nose bend the tags to pinch the wire as shown. Now you will have a decent mechanical connection, ready to solder.
Great idea! Next pair, that's how I'm going to proceed.
I want to thank all that contributed to the construction of my cables. I did use an inch of clear Teflon shrink tubing and covered them with teleflex. Chris confirmed there were no detrimental issues. The covering of the cable is far more heat resistant than the teleflex so I didn't have to worry about the cover melting.
When I made my V-Twist interconnects, I started with KLE Absolute plugs but eventually switched to WBT 0102-Ag. With each connector, I wrapped a small section of electrical tape a couple times around the V-Twist outer housing where the RCA plug bolts contact the cable. This way the bolts don't compress the cable but rather the tape wrapping. The electrical tape was cut to about 3/8" width so there is a minimal amount touching the cable housing. I suspect this approach will have less risk of affecting the sound than a couple inches of heatshrink.
Soldering the V-Twist wires to the RCA plug connectors was easy. So was stripping the insulation off the wires with a regular wire stripper.
If you follow RadioWonder's advice about plugging the KLE rca connector into an rca jack located on the back of an old orphaned VCR for example, or placed within the grasp of the Helping Hands Soldering Aid device, it's very easy to terminate the V-Twist with KLE rca connectors. Simply form a "Y" shape out of the two V-Twist wires that is the same width as the two KLE soldering platforms, then solder one wire. After the first wire is soldered, the second solder joint is even easier to do, since the cable is already partially secured to the rca connector, at that point.
Used Hakko Solder Station... Cardas Quad Eutectic Solder... CW brand "No clean Flux Dispensing Pen (part # CW8100)...
I found Pre-Tinning cable and RCA pins very helpful... You can also use Vise Clip Tool to hold if you need it...
I plugged my male RCA Connectors into old DVD Player for a Heatsink...
After everything is Pre-Tinned and held in place, a little Silver Solder applied to joints is all you need... Make sure your heat is perfect, you do not want Cold Solder Joints...
Because the V-Twist is soft, I used Heatshrink to keep the Set Screws from doing any damage... You need very little pressure when setting the Set Screws on the male RCA Connectors...
After I was finished I used my Audiodharma Cable Cooker to condition cables for three to four days...
If I were to make a new set of these, I would not use Heatshrink...The set screws are pressing on the rubber grommets on the KLEI Absolute®Harmony RCA connectors and not directly touching the V-Twist cable... Very little pressure is needed on the set screws...

Two related questions. 1) Was there a downside to the heat shrink tubing? 2) Did you try using Teleflex or some other covering?
I was worried about someone inexperienced using Heatshrink and using too much heat and possibly damaging the V-Twist Cable...
That was my logic behind Not Recommending Heatshrink...
Teleflex, please, no!!! It is a perfect design, please Do Not put a cover over it!!!
If Chris VenHaus thought it sounded better with a cover, he would have sold it that way...
Chris VenHaus actually covers his prebuilt V-Twist interconnect cables with Techflex Clean Cut sleeving.
What you could do is experiment with a very snug fitting piece of Heatshrink and Do Not use Heat... Just do a Dry Run before doing the Soldering...
Fit all the parts together and see if the tail end with the rubber grommet of the Absolute®Harmony RCA Plug is Snug or loose...All you really need is a very small amount of Strain Relief...
I used one of these kits...

Helping Hand Vise Grip Tool... Great tool to have around...
I think they sound very close to the KLEI Absolute®Harmony RCA Connectors... Here is a quote...
"Sound: Exceptional Resolution, Extremely tight non-bloated deep/detailed/resolving Bass, Extremely articulate presentation, Conveys subtle nuances with amazing dexterity, Stage is spacious and envelopes the listener, Allows the full emotion of the music to be experienced, Superb dynamics and an excellent micro detail presentation, Displays delicate upper mid and high frequency detail/resolution and harmonic texture with precision and emotion, Delivers music with extremely low noise/distortion in a Warm Musical and Involving manner from an very very Black/Quiet Background."
I constructed the exact same cable. The V twist copper wires are very easy to strip with bic lighter and fingernails. I just wrapped the wire around the u posts, one time around each and soldered. Had the KLE plugged into a female rca jack as a heatsink and had no problem with the plastic melting. The cable itself sounds great.
Here is the wire I want to solder to above RCAs. I also could use some help with multiple links or pics!
