Has anyone dissected one of their grounding cables? If so what what did you find and if not, would any of you care to speculate on its construction? I am working on a cheap version for my own curiosity. Thanks to all.
Follow Ups:
I am looking for gauge suggestions for system chassis grounding cable(s). I will be using .999 fine silver dead-soft wire and over-sized teflon as insulation. Thanks to all.

Ozzy posted on Audiogon his experience with DIY wires and the Synergistic Research Grounding Block. I use the Grounding Block in two of my systems and have found it to be a very worthwhile system upgrade.

I am guessing it only had wires run from the ground to the box? I guess the box could have a active component requiring hot and neutral as well?
I don't believe there is anything active involved. I think the "power" cord only has the ground prong live, as it were.
I went to the Synergistic Research's website, but I did not see a "grounding cable" product. If you can make a link to the product it would be helpful.

They are part of their grounding block assembly. The grounding block is a system wide, component chassis, star grounding scheme which dumps to the ground of your homes grid ground.
