Many Thanks! TomCat
and which models of IC and speaker cables would you suggest now?

Forgive me,I used CC cables instead of CD cables to represent the Clear Day..

Agreed- only buy used on everything!
Cables are my 1st love, so many cables/cords, so little time!
fantja This is very system dependent.I can make some suggestions, but until you tried the OMs with your Clear Day SC it would only be a guess.
I have had good results with the Purist. That being said, the Aqueous turned out to be a little soft and diffuse on the top-end.The Venustas are better and more complex as far as weaving things into the presentation. From what I understand the Corvus is the "hot spot".For best deals, only buy used.
The Clear Day IC is very good, especially at its' price point. The High Fidelity CT-1 out-right smokes the PAD,but not available in XLR.You might use the CC cables with a light smattering of the HFs on source components. The other SC that I like is the same one that I mentioned in your Clear Day post.It is copper with silver plating shot-gunned at about $400/8'.Has good extension and seems to get out of the way.
I find it best to use a "good quality" cable on the post linestage and custom fit the ICs with the source component.Depending on the quality of edge-definition and harmonic palette desired.
