SGreen, I highly recommend trying Clear Day cables. They offer a 30 day money back trial. Paul is a great guy to deal with, the best in the business. They have biwire cables (8 foot pair) for $315 as per his website. I replaced my much more expensive Morrow SP-6 speaker cables with Clear Day Singles and Double Shotguns and they are real keepers. I still use Morrow's 6 series interconnects on my system as they have great synergy with the Clear Days.

Thanks Hiendmuse....I wrote you (and all) a response, but it was never published. I spoke to Paul a number of times and as you say..he seems like a very nice, and patient guy...interested in the same things we are. Under no pressure at all, he's sending me one of his cables to listen to. My Vandersteens are VERY difficult to audition speaker cables for. They need special small spades on the speaker side, and large spades on the amp side. To reveal all that the speaker is capable, you need separate runs of cable for bi-wiring. Split cables with single connections on one end and double on the other never is as good. I asked Paul if I decide that his wire and my system smile at each other, if he could use the very best spades (non solder) and seperate plus and minus unjacketed ( 4 wires a side).... He can do anything says he...but first things first. I have had in my system, Cardas, Audioquest, AntiCable, Wireworld, Kimber, etc.,etc. I'll write back on this site what the outcome is for me. Thanks
Wow....just checked the priced of ultra high end speaker cables...400 dollars???
WRONG...sorry....my post should have read (not speaker cables, but) speaker cable spades..
