Depending on what your budget is, you may want to look at the Anti Cable offerings. Nothing fancy, just good quality solid core copper with an enamel insulation and priced quite nicely. I needed some looooong runs for my current setup, and this got me there without breaking the bank.

The Speltz cables are very likely a good suggestion. Look at all the good reviews he has. They seem to be real. These are two 12AWG gauge wires per rail adding up to 9 AWG according to his site. Don't think Speltz is a huge believer in the skin effect although he did stop at 12awg times two instead of going to one 9 awg single wire. Wonder why? Tweaker
I've used AntiCables and at each level, they are very good for their price. The original poster said price was a consideration...therefore Anti's are recommended. As you move up their price chart, the cables get ever better...but still are very good considering their price. I compared their topmost balanced interconnect to Wireworld Platinum...a very expensive highly recommended cable, and they have nearly the same presentaion...the same timber, the open soundstage, dynamics, etc. I would give the nod to Wireworld for its relative ease. If I didn't A/B them, I would think they were the same cable.
..and the winner after a long road of searching.... Clear Day Cable
My system just LOVES these cables. I find no warts to ponder at all. It is open, airy, not at all bright, clean, grain free, and a wonderful buying experience. The owner/builder is a pleasure to deal with. Very, highly recommended to those looking for something that can really help your system, your pocketbook, and your musical pleasure.
Just wait until they have a couple of hundred hours on them SGreen, they get even better with use. I recall telling you how much better these were versus the AntiCables you were using some time ago (the AntiCables are sitting in my discarded cable bin). The Clear Day cables are very musical, natural, and reveal nuances that previous much more expensive cables did not. And Paul is a true professional and gentleman in every manner of dealing. The very reasonable price of these thin gauge solid silver cables beats much more expensive speaker cables in performance.
