Good morning , I would like to know in that period on AN-V cables he had been impressed this marking, the written ends with "right channel" and "left channel"
I bought a pair used...I hope they are not a fake.
Thanks a lot.

Authentic Audio Note AN-V cables are marked with "right channel" and "left channel" designations, which is unusual since a stereo pair of cables tend to feature connectors or heat shrink with color coding for channel identification. The term "symmetrical" seems to indicate a coaxial cable with two center conductors (one for signal, one for return), which should/would mean the braided shield is connected at both ends of the cable rather than the source end only like a typical shielded twisted pair cable design. However, in strict terms of an actual coaxial cable geometry, the two center conductors should not be twisted, so perhaps the two conductors are not twisted within the Audio Note cable. This I do not know, since there is no talk about the design that I can find on the web, so my responses are guesses based on pure speculation.
The Audio Note AN-V in the vintage I have consists of 15 strands of 0.09 mm silver wire for each + and - wire. One of Audio Note's Asian dealer's website describes the cable configuration as a twisted set of conductors. There is a copper mesh braid used as a shield, but it is connected to ground at one end only.Typically terminated with silver plated RCA plugs the L and R cable is marked with red and black heatshrink in the usual fashion with a different length used on either end to designate which side has the shield connected.
In a system with a source component, pre-amp and amp the recommendation is to orient the interconnects with the shield connected end to the pre-amp. Standard directional arrows are absent on AN interconnects as in this situation you would have two cables connected opposite from each other.

You would have to know the provenance of the cables to know authenticity. Were they originally purchased from an authorized Audio Note dealer or from a Chinese seller on Ebay? Even the correct cable markings are no guaranty of authenticity. It has been well documented that counterfit cables of many manufacturers originate in China and authenticity cannot be judged on appearence alone.
For what it's worth, the photo I've posted is of the AN-V cable I purchased many years ago from a private seller. I believe it was originally purchased from an authorized Audio Note dealer but have no actual proof. Because of this concern it would be best if the seller provide an actual receipt as proof of purchase to remove all doubt as to whether the product is authentic or counterfit.
Roughly what year you bought them ?
You have other couples ? if so these do you think that they sound the same?
From the picture you posted look identical to my.
I bought the AN-V cables used at least 15 years ago, perhaps more. I have only one AN-V interconnect, the other is an AN-Vx.
I am wondering how these cables can be both "symmetrical" and have specific left and right cables (and no doubt, a direction arrow). Sounds like "asymmetrical" would be a better moniker.
