Before I biwired I tried different jumpers and was amazed at the differences.

Yep just a couple of inches long. I remember I was using Kimber 4TC as speaker wire and made a nice jumper from that figuring it would be better than the stock 25 year old very basic looking 16 or 18 gauge wire jumpers. Wrong! I learned then to just test and listen to decide.ET

Luminator is absolutely correct. In order to hear one's system at it's best the jumpers, interconnects, speaker cables, and power cables all benefit from Cable Cooking. The system improves with the sound having a better flowing quality.
Once you hear that improvement invest in a Jim Hagerman Frycorder. This treats your house wiring back to the power company's transformer.
I really give cable cooking the highest possible rating for improving a system's sound.
No argument on that here.
