From my experiences, I still can't find anything that beats the older Elrod EPS-2/3 Signatures in that price range (in my system, to my ears).
Follow Ups:
Hearing the Shunyata cables (CX0 in my system has been an eye-opener.Has also lead me to experiment with the upper CXs.Excellent on the amplification portion of the system (mine, any ways). Now using them on the Ayre pre,Pass XVR-1 and X250 and Red Dragon Leviathon monos.Significantly dropped the noise floor and allowing very nice low-level resolution of detail (ambience/room reflection,over-tone structure and has turned the bass into a servo-like affair.Big jump in bass SQ going from the BM/HC to an Anaconda.Soundstage dimensions have expanded.Even allowing imaging forward of the speaker placement.
As great as all this sounds,I did not like them as much on the "source" components.Still preferring the High Fidelity CT-1 and Omega Mikro PPCs.
The CT-1 is very transparent, but a little subdued in comparison with the OMs.The OMs have a little more intimacy and air.Depending on the sonic balance of the system, one could go either way and be happy.
I will be experimenting with these two cables on the phono stage, along with comparing the CT-1 IC and Crystal cables to see which is most involving and musical.I also plan to experiment with these two ICs running from the DAC to the Ayre.
The Purist is slightly romantic, not a bad thing on digital.Too much so with the sonic balance of the Kiseki. Thus the Crystal Cable experiment.

The Omega Mikro is my favorite on source components.
Replacing the High Fidelity CT-1 with the OM PPC made a huge difference.I had felt that the Crystal Cable was a bit over-bearing on the top-end.Not true with the OM PC.It made the race between the CT-1 IC and CC IC a close battle. The CT has more beauty, the CC Micro still has a touch of warmth, but its' transient nature surpasses the CT.Dependent on your choice of music, one might prefer either. Will keep both,as they are just an input away.
The CT-1 PC will probably be moved over to the digital,in place of one of the Fusion PCs> > MSB/Z-Systems/Blue Circle.
