Excellent pic! -Dave.
how does it sound? what other "brand-named" power cords have you tested it against?
Follow Ups:
I need to let this break in some more. But fifty hours in, as compared to Alpha 3 and various Synergistic Master Couplers and DIY recipes that preceded it, the silver PC cleans up the treble, darkens the background, and discovers a more natural timbre in digital. I made a second one to a Paul Hynes master PS that (via similarly thick DIY silver DC umbilicals) powers the CDP's rubidium clock, Merlin BBAM bass equalizer, and a Schumann resonator. That was collectively a more significant upgrade.
Admittedly I haven't compared it to anything TOTL. I once had a very expensive Fono Acustica silver/gold PC in the system, but it's been too long for a reliable comparison from memory.
I'll eventually have one cryoed and forwarded to a friend for comparison to upper tier PAD and Nordost PCs.
Very cool- Dave.
I'd say give the PC at least 200hrs for break-in.
Keep me posted as you compare it against other "brand-named" PC(s).
