The Harmonic Technology Truth-Link is not a transparent sounding design, but it's a very musical sounding interconnect cable, IME.
Follow Ups:
Agreed with Duster. I used Truthlink for years very happily. It is warm and engaging with a somewhat restrained treble compared to the more neutral HT Magic series.
As I recall, the treble was indeed subdued, but it also produced a distinct sounding lower and middle treble energy that nicely enhanced the presentation of cymbals and upper harmonic content in general. At the time, I could have lived with the Truth-Link if the bass sounded more linear, since the gestalt of the bottom end was a bit too colored and inarticulated, IME. This matter may have been component or system sensitive, but I discovered other folk's reports which also mentioned the same issue with the Truth-Links bass characteristics. That said, the Truth-Link has featured different rca connectors during its production, so another build version might sound better than what I experienced.
