I have been using Silent Audio Apollo Silver cables between my Quicksilver Linestage and Rotel RB-1050 amp for several years. Unfortunately, one of them just stopped working, Silent Audio is out of business and I don't know how to fix it.
Since these cables use pure silver magnet wire, I was thinking of trying to replace them with a magnet wire based cable as I think this design offers outstanding value in interconnect cables. DIY is not a viable option for me. Also, I'm not sure if I want pure silver again because it is more expensive than I can cost justify (this is a 2nd system that is used on a few times per month) and although I liked the clarity and detail of the Silent Audio's, they were a little lean sounding at times.
Since I don't listen to this system often, it would be difficult for me to buy all three and do a shoot-out. Also, I would want to avoid long burn in requirements, because it would probably take me all year to burn them in.
Therefore, I was wondering if there was anyone out there who has heard all three or two out of the three and could steer me toward which would be the better sounding one. I am trying to keep the cost of this at $100 or less, if possible, so I am leaning toward trying their entry level cables.

Hello, niws,
I replaced the Anti-Cable interconects and speaker cables (Classic design) with Morrow interconnects and speaker cables. I didn't stop there: I also replaced my Shunyata power cords with Morrow power cords. Both systems are cabled by Morrow (MA4, SP4, and MAP4). The 4s represent an acceptable price point for me. I would like to try Morrow's Grand Reference 7 line, but I'm paying for my son's college education, so that experiment won't happen for a few years.
In my systems, the Morrows were simply better than the Anti Cables in every regard. I hope you're happy with whatever you decide to try.
If the Silents are that ribbon type design that look to be magnet wire sandwiched between two pieces of clear packing tape, I have a broken pair myself. You pretty much hit the sonic signature on the head.....plus their tendency to eventually fail. If you want to mimic that sonic signature with a bit more body thrown in, I would suggest either the ClearDay IC or the Morrow MA2 with Eichmann's. Unfortunately neither is $100. The CD is around $170 and the Morrow probably a shade over $200 unless you can find a used pair( with Eichmann's) on his site. The CD uses somewhat of an Eichmann knock off. The reason I'm suggesting the Morrow MA2 specifically with Eichmann's is that IHMO it simply sounds much better than when fitted with standard RCA's.
Thanks for your input. Yes, the Silent Audio cables are the ribbon type. I will investigate the Morrows and the Clear Day cables.
Morrow gets good press keep us posted.
I'm a fan of Morrow (I have a full loom on one of my systems), but if you are concerned about break in I'd look somewhere else -- the Morrows took longer to reach full sound than any other cables I've ever tried.
Mick, are you sue the Clear Days use an Eichmann "knock-off?" I have a couple of Paul's early ICs -- before he stopped selling them for a time -- and the Eichmanns are certainly the real thing. I found them quite dull, though, until I put a pair on the FryKleaner and left them there for a week or so. After that, they opened up miraculously.

Dave.......yeah his current IC uses a connector very similar to an Eichmann in design. I also know that at least for the last couple years, he cooks all IC's and speakers cables on a Hagerman before they're shipped.
