I currently have three Wireworld Electras (5.2 and 7) in my system from wall to power conditioner, on my MF tube buffer, and my tube preamp. Definitely my best PCs. I use an Audioquest NRG-2 on my CD player where it seems to work best. Previously, I've used the NRG-2 on the buffer and conditioner, but it was a bit aggressive. In an ideal world, I'd love to place another Electra on my CD player, however I don't have an ideal budget to match.
I've been giving some thought to replacing the NRG-2 with either a Wireworld Aurora or Stratus. My CD/SACD player is a TEAC CD-1000 which can be very revealing and sensitive to cabling, although it's an excellent player with properly matched cables (use the Wireworld Eclipse interconnects on my digital gear and preamp to amp).
Any thoughts or experience on either the Stratus or Aurora for this, or how they may compare to the AQ NRG-2?

another thought;
when you are ready for a serious HDMI cable, look no further than the Wireworld Silver Starlight 5.2 or newer. it is simply outstanding!
Only bettered by the Wireworld Platinum HDMI at a much, higher price.
I've been using Wireworld products since the mid-90s. I must have bought the Aurora II powercord starting in 1995. It made everything sound like L.A. Guns' Cocked And Loaded . While that may be a good thing for some of us, it is not, in absolute terms, accurate. Since then, I've tried several of Wireworld's other powercord models. I have not blogged about or reviewed these powercords. "Why not?" you ask.
Well, of the Wireworld looms I've lived with, their powercords seem to be the weak link [if you can't afford the excellent Platinum Eclipse series, their Silver Eclipse signal cables are the next best thing, at a fraction of the price]. And this is after I've properly treated them, by running them on an audiodharma Cable Cooker. Finding the Wireworld powercords to be nothing special, I did not retain them. With the appropriate choice of Oyaide connector(s), the Acrolink 6N-4030P was superior (that is, it imposed fewer inaccurate colorations, and was truer to the source) to any of my Wireworld powercords.
As I have not enough meaningful experience with the AQ NRG-2, I am not at liberty to comment.

I would challenge you to re-visit the Electra 7. In the particular system, in which it was placed, I would have placed a value of $60K (easily) and the power cord held its own.
Chris-
I had the listening pleasure earlier this year, to audition the new Wireworld Electra 7 on an Esoteric cd/sacd player. The build quality is outstanding, as well as, the sound. The rest of the system was Pass Labs,
TAD loudspeakers, Silent Source / Signal Cable IC(s).
I would certainly stay w/ the Electra 7 throughout your system.
