I ask because Music Direct has them 1/2 off and I looking for another pair of IC's.

Follow Ups:
The original Heimdall interconnect was terminated with WBT rca plugs.
What Music Direct has for half price is original Heimdall cable but terminated with Neutric plugs. These are the same plugs that Nordost uses on their current Lief series of interconnects.
So, probably really good and a good deal but not exactly like the original Heimdall, which I've used and like very much.
I currently have some of the Heimdall 2 which use a new version of the Nordost moonglo rca. I love 'em.
Just wanted to let you know what you're in for. The details are important to me and probably to you too.
So the Music Direct models have the same rca's as the lower line Leif?
Do the Norse 2's have WBT's or Neutric?
Thanks for the info......

Yes the Music Direct models have the same connectors as the Lief line.
The Norse 2 use a redesigned version of Nordost's original Moonglo rca plugs.
The original Heimdall and the current Heimdall 2 are both great cables. Though they are the lowest of their respective series to use the micro-monofiliment, they provide a big taste of that technology's considerable benefit.
I have no clue if or how the Neutrik impacts the sound. In my experience, Nordost is a great company and unlikely to shoot themselves in the foot. Don't let me dissuade you from what M.D. has on offer. Their return policy is very good.
