Ciao Bella! Looking for some input here. I have Pass XA200 amplifiers, the Pass XP20 pre-amp, B&W 802 Diamond loudspeakers, and my front end includes a computer server, a high-end transport and dcs Debussy DAC. My question is really about new cables. I currently use the TARA Labs Zero and Omega cables in my system. I’ve heard that TARA Labs has actually surpassed these cables with a new series called Evolution? Anyone have any experience with this?

Charlie-
check your post on Audiogon- a friend of mine, whom is well versed in Tara Labs, has answered your query.
fantja... I'd be glad to talk to anyone, and I am open to new suggestions. Maybe there are some experienced listeners who have auditioned the TARA ZERO Evolution. Maybe there is something out there than has gone under my radar.
Right On!
you have serious gear that requires serious cables/cords to bring out its best!
Charlie-
are you using all Tara Labs cables & power cords?
Welcome! Charlieclarke-
Recently, I had the pleasure of auditioning some Pass gear. Here are the cables/cords used by the shop owner on this set-up;
Silent Source.
Signal Cable.
Older Audioquest XLR interconnects (only 1 pair).
Wireworld Electra 7 power cord (PC) (only 1).
To date, the XP-20 is easily my reference solid-state preamp (until I can demo the XP-30). Let me know if i can be of further help.
Thanks fantja... Have not tried Silent Source, but I have the best cables from AQ, Kimber and others. I'm not going to talk about these too much, but the ZERO Gold Interconnect (TARA) is completely better than these cables. Many cables are just different sounding .... but the TARA ZERO Gold is a game-changer. I wish the ZERO Gold was still in production, as I would get another pair to put away. I think it will be regarded as the high-watermark for many years to come. And yes, I do plant to go to the Pass XP-30 in the next 6 months or so.
