I own a Samsung plasma and the IEC socket is a standard IEC 320. I use a TG Audio SLVR cord.

Hey Mike! (huge Acme outlet, Tg Audio (and Luminous) Audio cat here.)
How does the Slvr work on the TV? I do not have a plasma, just 60" a HD1080i LED doodad... But have thought how it might affect the TG/Luminous Digital out (Audio), as well as video...
Hi Mingus, good to hear from you. Being a tweaker, I never just do one thing. Besides the power cord, I use my AC outlets, a special coating inside the power stip that defeats RF noise, and a large value inductor across the hot and neutral. I get complements on the video quality. Better definition and color saturation. My video source is Directv and blu-ray. Audio through the Samsung speakers is just OK. Performance using the modest Pioneer 7 channel receiver is very good considering system cost.
Thanks Mike! I gotta try a SLVR there one day! It has my tweakers ear peaked...
