I have a Pangea AC-9SE right now. I was thinking of moving up with a $500 or below cable. Second hand or new. I heard good things about PS Audio AC12 which can be had below $500 used. Help me decide. Thanks.

I had that same Pangea PC and decided to change. I was given a tip about the Triode Wire Labs PC so I tried it.....wow! Walked all over the Pangea.

Triodes have peaked my curiosity over the last year and may give one a shot!
Excellent PC's at a good price!
I haven't heard this with Parasound but for your budget I was impressed by the Triode Wire Labs, you may want to look at them.
I can't promote what I sell, but I have heard lots of good things about the Analysis Plus stuff and I know at least one of my reps uses their cables. I would look into those guys.

Trust your ears not the review...
I had the listening pleasure, recently of auditioning some Parasound gear.
PC that were in effect are Silent Source and Signal Cable(s).
I use an PS Audio AC12 on my A21 and absolutely give it my highest recommendation !
Do post your results on what ever cable you choose.
I recommend you choose an unshielded large gauge (10 AWG) power cord for the power amplifier. The Kimber PK10 Gold is popular for high current applications. It's available with Wattgate Audio Grade gold plated AC connectors, or Wattgate Audio Grade Ag silver plated AC connectors, of which particular plating type can be selected for system tuning purposes.
