well, not so radical, but really a copy of the upper line Kimber Bifocals and such; just with less fill and spacers.
Since you have two lengths of TC, try puffing up one length and inserting the other length in the middle of the first cable's braid, making a concentric run of cable. This way the coupled inductance is actually being used to propagate the signal faster. That's what I hear, at any rate. Two coincidental runs of Kimber sound better than two side by side ones.
Be aware that puffing up the outer braid will shorten the overall length.
Incidentally i use the Kimber TC puffed up over older AQ cables like the Midnight and the system works extremely well, with both cables augmenting the performance of each other.

First of all thanks to Rick, Duster and Stu for your replies, it is great to have a place to go when cable problems/questions arise or just to bounce ideas off of those much more experienced than myself, I don't want to get off topic here as I will address this in another post.
Stu, I'm going to take your suggestion. I have done a LOT of reading about 8tc/4tc, 8tc/8tc, 4tc/4tc, internal/external etc. I really like the sound of the 4tc in my 2nd system and wanted to maximize it. I originally needed the 11-12' cable for my right channel as the speaker sits 2' to the right of my 6' wide workbench in the basement with all electronics on the left side. The left channel is also 11', just snaked around behind the speaker.I could build a shelf over the middle of the bench and build a 1.5 meter pair of interconnects to connect the amp to the pre then I wouldn't need to worry about losing length when expanding it.
While I'm at it I read one of your earlier posts about running rope or tubing down the middle of 4tc to increase dynamics. Would doing this to the inner run before inserting into the outer run be benefical? If so I could get cotton rope, I have 3/8" od plastic tubing or I found at Home Depot 3/8" or 1/2" foam cording the consistency of pipe insulation, very dense but extremely light and would hold it's shape well. What do you think ? Again thanks to everyone for your replies.
Kimber originally used lead in their first iteration of their solid silver speaker wires, the Black Pearl. Now they use a foamed rubber/plastic material it seems. The internal insert is not really necessary but it helps preserve the desired shape. I guess laying down on your work bench that feature would become handy.
Personally I prefer the air dielectric, for the sense of "air" it gives. The TC series loses about 25% of the length when puffed up to about a 1/2 inch internal diameter braid.
Let us know how it works out for your taste. Have fun !.......
Actually, if you puff up the cable before inserting the rope or tubing have some friends over, especially those who don't believe cables make a difference. I used to pick up the cable and simply pull an arms length tight again and you can hear the sound changing dramatically...All this and you haven't even changed the ends or the overall length, too.
