The diameter of the Supra LoRad 2.5 is not large, and it fits perfectly into the cable entry point (and fits the cable clamp) of the Valab AC connectors just fine (I built one for my HDTV).
The smaller gauge Supra LoRad 1.5 does not have a good reputation for audiophile purposes.
BTW, I suggest you contact that seller of sleeving about the shipping charge to Canada. I'm sure it's a big mistake...

Hope not ... then $40-50 brokerage fees and taxes ... OMG !!!
I didn't need to be pushed hard, wanted to try Supra for a while. ;)

After a few days of burn-in time, let me know what you think of the low-cost DIY Supra/Valab power cord vs. the stock power cord when placed on your new DAC.
Cheers, Duster
May take a while.
I may start with an additional external metal braided shield, I'm a bit of a shielded cables nut, everything is extensively shielded, speaker cables included!

I don't recommend that you do that. Supra's literature clearly points out that the name LoRad means LOw RADiation and minimizes both electrical and magnetic fields. The cable features a very tightly twisted geometry for EMI noise suppression/rejection rather than implement a braided shield, while the foil shield addresses RFI and high frequency digital noise. Adding an external braided shield would be overkill and would likely affect the sound in a negative way. If you wish to experiment with an additional device, a Highwire Audio Power Wrap can be used to help mitigate fundamental and harmonic ringing modes resonance.
Ah I see, thanks for the info.
