Left plug is the Marantz and the other is a Furutech...The Furutech will not fit the Marantz maybe other IEC models will work with the Marantz but that would be a painful trial and error...That's why I'm looking for plug and play..
Try this-take a computer 3 prong cord & see if it will fit.
If so , the Furutech will fit. Furutech is known for tight fit/grip, so you may have to push a little to get it to seat in the jack.
Furutech F1-11 does not fit...I'm sure other standard 3 prong will work...But high quality is a must..

Keep us posted...
They are close but the Furutech is just a little too large..

Note: Upper-line Furutech IEC inlets require larger panel cut-outs, so measure the Marantz cut-outs before attempting to use any of them. That said, if the stock IEC inlet of the Marantz unit is indeed smaller than a Furutech AC Inlet(R) or Furutech AC Inlet(G), you may have to enlarge the cut-out, anyway.
I must believe it when you say it won't fit, but it's such a non-standard situation that it seems incredible. In all cases that I've come across, folks simply plug any 3-prong IEC power cord into a 2-prong IEC inlet. Honestly, if the Marantz unit actually doesn't feature a standard 2-prong C18 IEC inlet, the suggestion to replace the stock 2-prong IEC inlet with a audiophile quality aftermarket 3-prong C14 IEC inlet that Elizabeth mentioned is the best solution, and perhaps the only solution if you want to use an audiophile quality aftermarket power cord with the Marantz unit. The stock Marantz IEC inlet is likely connected to the internal AC wiring via standard quick disconnects which can simply be removed from one IEC inlet and onto another. Simply ignore the ground pin on the replacement IEC inlet.
The following text is taken from Wikipedia - IEC 60320:

C17/C18 coupler
Similar to C13/C14 coupler, but unearthed. A C18 inlet will accept a C13 connector but a C14 inlet will not accept a C17 connector.
The IBM Wheelwriter series of electronic typewriters are one common application. Three wire cords with C13 connectors, which are easier to find, are sometimes used in place of the two wire cords for replacement. In this case, the ground wire will not be connected.
The C17/C18 coupler is often used in audio applications where a floating ground is maintained to eliminate hum caused by ground loops. Other common applications are the power supplies of Xbox 360 game consoles, replacing the C15/C16 coupler employed initially, and large CRT televisions manufactured by RCA in the early 1990s.

Thanks everyone-I'll just have to find a cable and shave it down to size if need be :)
I recommend that you call or email a Marantz dealer who also sells audiophile aftermarket power cords and ask them about the situation.
If they can't provide authoritative help in this matter, nobody can.
Cheers, Duster
The IEChole inteh chassis is probably the same, just the socket os goofy.
i would buy a three prog new chassis one and just not conenct the ground on it.
The Standard one on the right you picture is the one I am using on my WyWires PC and it fits fine as I said on my Marantz SA14S2 Ltd.
