Short hop from MI to WI tracking is ready for delivery 8/9/12.
Plan on one day used to power Furman REF20i to break in, (And see if it matters if just for powercord going TO the power conditioner.)
Then on to the amp directly on Friday..
Follow Ups:
your best cable on the first link in the chain, the Source player. I've tried many combinations, and I've found it to sound best There.
So, maybe the best place for the new PC is Wall to Power Conditioner. Would you give it a try, see if you have a preference?
Interested in Oakland.
On the digital side i had found not having a too perfect cord was better for some components.
I have to say my digital front end is not of the same caliber as the pre/amp/ speakers. When I put the 14SE on some item, i was not pleased, and went with a standard Pamgea 9 as a better sound.
SO for now my sources are going to stay as they are. (several have only the OEM captive cords anyway.)
If I put the SE cord on anything in the source area, it might be the PS Audio P600 power conditioner I use for the digital..
on what the Furman powers, you will probably find a remarkable difference. It has in almost all systems I've played around with (except a lo-fi one).
Good luck and have fun. Can't wait for the comments - in your own style, of course.
