Oy,
After reading thru your system site you digital guys have it made! Everything is basically Plug and play. Just pull out one item and plug in another. OK The Amp arrives tomorrow or Tuesday and it has standard RCA input jack and RCA termials for the speaker(this is all mono). The pre-amp has standard RCA jacks. Speakers-don't laugh, is huge Seeburg DDS1 monster (also have a RCA-SHS-7 as an alternative). They also have standard screw jacks. TT will be a REK-O-Kut Rondine 12GB with Stanton 500 cartridge for 78rpm, which is what this system is all about. The power plugs are standard and have not been improved. So that is everything. I would to upgrade in the near future-but not deleriously so.Those high ticket items are beyond my pocketbook. That said I would still want great sound
Thanks for your consideration.

That sounds very cool. I wish I could hear it! Enjoy! There are some great performances on 78, and for the most part, they are giving the records away. I kept my father's 70 and have a Rek-O-Kut Rondine Deluxe in the wings that I plan to fix up and play them. I also have a Brocener preamp, Radio Craftsman amp and a huge Jensen Coax. I am not laughing, I am drooling!

I remember playing with all sorts of *very vintage* audio gear in my early teens, including the speakers of an old late 50s tube hi-fi console, in order to play portable Realistic mono cassette recordings through "bigger speakers..." Hoorah!

I did the same thing with my portable cassette deck and my father’s mono setup when I was a kid. I had the equipment listed in my room in the late 60's/ early 70's except I had an Electrovoice 12 coax in a boom box and a Garrard turntable. It got replaced by a bottom of the line Garrard changer, a Royal receiver and KLH 32 speakers. That is how it began!

I have some cable suggestions, but need to know exactly what you want to accomplish.
Do you plan to operate two loudspeakers or just one via the mono amplifier? The rca speaker output jack requires a custom terminated speaker cable unless you seek a low-quality option. If you are not an experienced DIY cable builder, you may need to ask a custom termination cable seller to build an rca connector --> pair of barrier spades custom speaker cable for you.
I'm not sure if you want to replace the stock captive AC power cords with new ones, or just want to replace the stock AC plugs with new ones. The former will require a quality cable bushing to affix the new DIY power cord to the chassis entry point.
Also, what length cables do you need for each application?
