I don't know the performance quality of Supra's AC connectors. The Valab AC connectors (although mine are the top-of-the-line version Valab Carbon Housing AC connectors featuring carbon fiber sheathed CNC machine milled aluminum AC connector shells) when mated with a Supra LoRad 2.5 power cord sounds very focused with detailed spatial cues when implemented for a digital application (Monarchy Audio DIP 24/96 digital interface processor).

IME, the nature of the Supra power cord with the Valab AC connectors is very AC outlet sensitive, as it allows the sonic signature of any given AC outlet to predominate within the presentation, perhaps bringing out now-more-obvious listening cues of an AC outlet. My favorite receptacle configuration is with a Wattgate 381 Audio Grade Gold AC outlet, which offers open, spacious synergy to my ear, and with the stock IEC inlet of the DIP replaced with an Oyaide Power Inlet R (platinum + palladium plated phosphor bronze contacts) IEC inlet, which offers more vividly fleshed out images to my ear, and with two Auricap 0.47µF 600V metalized polypropylene capacitors installed as Auricap Tweak (mild line-borne noise filter), which offers a slightly lowered noise floor effect.

That is a lot of useful information, considering that I am thinking of adding a DAC to my system (that has an IEC). The Wattgate 381 is not cheap as AC outlets go, but not expensive as upgrades in general. The Valab stuff appears to be quite the bargain. I was thinking about what I would do for an AC cord for my DAC and you have given me a excellent suggestion.

  That is very insightful. Some folks may not flinch at an additional $300 for a deluxe-upgrade for a component, while objecting to an Audio Grade AC outlet that may cost less than half of that.
  
  BTW, the DIY Supra/Valab power cord build should also mate well with a typical unplated brass AC outlet, as long as the AC outlet sounds decent, such as a moderate-priced cryo'd and pre-conditioned (burned-in) Hubbell 5362.

    That is a little easier on the wallet! I will consider both options. The nice thing about the Wattgate is that the wife would never suspect!
    
    I did put my money where I thought it would count. I have 2 dedicated lines to my listening room.
