I have done dozens of comparisons looking for cheap but good. Finally found it. Some internet outfit was closing out silver on copper video ICs.
I bought 3 or 4 sets at 90% off. Redid almost the whole system.

  Tributaries Silver Series SCV C Component Video Cable?

  I got two sets, which yields 3 interconnects (pairs).

  I haven't put it head to head with my current cables (which are all 1m length vs. the 3m for the Tributaries stuff) but IMHO it is really quite good.

  Mind you it wasn't exactly super cheap at the original pricing ($340 per meter set).
