After numerous complaints about being ripped off by Revelation Audio Labs, Audiogon has FINALLY done the right thing and banned its owner, Brad Vojtech from doing business there.
If you are even remotely considering doing business with this scam artist, check out the dozens of negative posts about him. Hopefully, the legal system will catch up with him soon and he'll get what he deserves.
I just got some more info from the Florida AG on other courses of action that can be taken as well as the AG office investigation. Hope these links might help others:

This thread deserves to be pinned and heavily linked! It's on the first page of Google results, thankfully, but hopefully we can push it to the top.
Brad Vojtech who operates Revelation Audio Labs is a known con man and thief.
Check this thread, too:

He's also been officially banned from Audiogon.
I have personally been swindled for over $3000 by this guy and can provide extensive email proof.
Please feel free to contact me for more info, and I can send you all the emails we exchanged, complete with his ever-more-fantastic excuses.
I actually got a biwire set of speaker cables in August 2007 (apparently I was lucky as many buyers were not getting anything at that time). However, I sent them back to him to have them reterminated (at a cost of $400) and he apparently sold them to someone else, then started with the lame excuses.
I have been following up with calls to various Florida agencies as noted in this thread and the one at HeadFi, and feel free to call the church where he works (!!) as well: call (386) 503-4472, and speak to Pastor David Jacobs.
We need to keep the pressure on. Will any of us get cables or our money back? Unlikely, but if we can stop him from continuing to defraud people, that's something, anyway. I've been contacting all the audio magazines in hopes they'll do a story, and I encourage anyone else who has been defrauded to contact them as well. If TAS and others get dozens of emails, they'll hopefully feel forced to investigate and publish something.

I can be contacted via this temporary email address for 90 days:

I report in this 3D too (i wrote on headfi forum too) my sad experience....
Mr.Vojtech stole thousands of $ from me and a friend of mine. About nearly $5.500!
We made a first order on December 31 2006 (yes....you understood right...december 2006.. and he told us that it would have taken 20 days to get all the cables shipped via FedEx!!) and a second one (he told us that it was just a strange issue with the cable cooker and that he would have shipped all the cables just after a week) on February the 7th.
We never received the most part of the order...and 2 of the few ones received (after more then 6 months) were defective cables too (never replaced). At least...the huge lost amount i reported is correct.
He made up bullshit for all this time...personal and professional bullshit to take time and time keeping on pulling us. He didn't reply to our mails for months and months too. Yesterday i noticed the advert of the Audiogon ban on AudioAsylum...too late i suppose.
Such a thief....i'm hopeless. If anyone will consider a legal action toward that man...please keep me informed.
Forgot to add...i do really apologize for my bad english...i'm from italy.
Regards,
Luciano
ps: obviously i have all the documentation relates to the facts reported. And i sent it to Audiogon today.
If you've been ripped off by Vojtech, I highly recommend complaining to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Consumer Services, 2005 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL 32399-6500. They are aware of his scams and will investigate matters.
Since he uses a PO Box on his website and generally ignores emails or the phone once he's taken your money, here is a better way to contact him:
Brad Vojtech/Revelation Audio Labs
26 Eastmoor Lane
Palm Coast, FL 32164
T: 386-586-3653
Fax: 386-437-5523
Thanks "nostatic"....i will try. Even if it seems no way to fill it correctly for international people. Will it work even for a person outside the US?
Best Regards,
Luciano
Did you charge the order to your credit card? If so, contact them immediately and dispute the charges. If he swindled you out of this much money, it's a felony. Report the crime to the Florida Attorney General's office, they will follow up. Additionally, his company is supposedly incorporated so you can file a complaint with the State Corporation Commission of Florida, too. I'd try to get his home address and then send certified letters demanding your money.
Here is the complete story...On 12/31/2006 we made a first order (taking in consideration his 30 days money back guarantee for all the cables) placed by credit card (my friend's credit card) for those items:
3 Precept Powercords in 2 meter lenght.
1 Balanced Interconnect in .5 meter lenght.
1 Digital CAT5 cable in 1 meter lenght. He never shipped the 3 powercords (and you know how much the cost!).
My friend received the balanced in a quite reasonable period.
I received the digital cable too (shipped and received just on August 2007!! Obviously sending many mails to him every week to get it - and the other cables - shipped) but....it was defective! It doesn't work at all...no signal transmission! He told me that he would have shipped a replacement in few days (and obviously i had to ship the defective one back to him once received the replacement)...but he didn't.
On February the 7th (2007) (always taking in consideration his 30 days policy..and, BTW, on the Audiogon advertisement was clearly reported as available even for the speaker cables!) i made a second order (he told me that all the cables of the first order were on the way to be shipped in few days......and that a cable-cooker failure was the reason of the delay) via money-wire for these cables (and i was told that they would have been shipped in about 10 days togheter with all the other cables):
2 pair of Testament Speaker Cables in 2.5 meters lenght each.
1 Balanced Interconnect in 1.5 meter lenght
1 Balanced Interconnect in 1 meter lenghtI received them on August 24 (2007)...obviously sending mails to him nearly every day...to get just about one comunication (i heard all the possible excuses from that man) per month from him;
The shorter one was defective (another one!)...he told me that he would have immediately shipped a replacement (together with the digital one and all the other cables he had to ship!)...but obviously he didn't.
The longer one was ok (WOW...i got 1 right cable from him!)....
The pair of speaker cables designed for the mid-high frequencies (as i wrote i ordered two pairs..one designed for the mid-high and the other one for the bass frequencies) were awful...totally unsatisfactory (and please take in consideration that i found his signal cable an excellent cable...with a great balance along all the spectrum). The one dedicated and designed for the bass frequencies was, instead, a nice cable.
He told me that, with no matter at all (he immediately suggested it..before any request made by me), he would have shipped a replacement (made in a different way...taking in consideration the bad results reported for the one designed for the mid-high frequencies) for the "accused" pair. I suppose it was his first pair of cables made just and only for the mid-high frequencies...but i don't know. Anyway he was - just in words obviously - so willing to make a replacement to get a better result.
So, personally, i paid:
2 Precept in 2 meters lenght
1 Balanced interconnect in 1 meter lenght
1 Balanced interconnect in 1.5 meter lenght
1 digital CAT5 cable (for my Accuphase combo - Dp-800/Dc-801 - wich i sold in the meanwhile)
2 Pairs of Testament Speaker CablesAnd that's what i could use (considering that obviously i do not use the speaker cables for the bass and mid-bass frequencies with other different cables for the upper range)...
1 Balanced Interconnect in 1.5 meter lenght
The friend of mine ordered those cables:
1 Balanced Interconnect in 0.5 meter
1 Precept in 2 meters lenghtHe got only the interconnect.
That's our experience. I thought that his dreadful behaviour was just toward us (not having found any 3d or negative feedback on Audigon about this man!!)...now i know that it wasn't. He didn't reply to our mails for months and months....he gave us new shipping schedule every now and then...but, anytime, all the scheduled dates passed without a shipment.
Once again, and considering that i run it off, i apologize for my english.

To all who have been ripped off by Revelation Audio Labs, here is the link to the Florida Attorney General's office where you can file an online complaint:

RAL is a con business, and the owner Brad is a crook:Head-fi: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f4/revelation-audio-lab-ral-they-crooks-283121/
Audiogon: http://forum.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/fr.pl?fcabl&1197379318&read&3&4&
I first did business with Brad at the end of 2005. I purchased more cables in 2006 and never had the kind of troubles that others report. I noticed that things were going to hell for Brad last year when a good friend and previous cutomer of Brad's was unable to get his cable. I suspect that Brad used the money for his family, and then failed to pay his suppliers and fulfull his orders.
I feel that Brad acted dishonestly with his customers, and he will find it almost impossible to regain the trust he previously had.
The sad thing about all of this is that Brad made very nice cables.
Regardless of the quality of his cables' quality or his personal issues, his business practices are reprehensible. If he takes a person's money and then doesn't deliver the product, that's theft — plain and simple.
My advice is if you've been ripped off or jerked around by this guy, use every legal means possible to get what you're owed. If enough disgruntled folks complain to the attorney general's office of Florida, they'll make sure his scams come to an end. Also, inform you credit card about what's going on and they'll pursue matters, too.

Unfortunately, the Gon seems to be only interested in profit.
nt
Because he was a frequent advertiser. Guess they were more interested in the $$$ than protecting members.
Audiogon really fell short in protecting their members from getting scam by Brad. I wrote Audiogon in October about Brad and other members have been complaining about RAL as far back as 2006. I used to believe there was some merit to Audiogon's feedback system. If you look up RAL's feedback ratings, there isn't one negative feedback. I don't think it was because there weren't anyone willing to submit a negative fb. Audiogon probably would not approve a negative fb unless there was an actual completed transaction, and of course that was where the problem laid.....no one ever received the goods that they paid for.
Take Audiogon's feedback system with a grain of salt. A 100% positive fb rating on any given member doesn't mean you won't get burn.
Audigon's feedback system is a joke unfortunately it's "buyer beware"
