i am try to try out a new arrangement but i cannot figure if it is viable to implement.
i am hoping to move my source and amplifiers to beside my seat which will be 12 feet from the speakers. i was thinking of running beldens CC but the length of the other channel might be pushing it as the speakers at at least 8 feet appart, sometimes 10 feet. i am running a krell at the moment with a pair of epos 14 but i do switch around with tube amps, single ended and push pull with my fullrangers.
is a 22 foot belden CC alright?
wow driving a signal a whole 144 inches, im not sure the Krell is up to that.
Why would you want to move the amp from its central alter position:- between the speakers, where its ensured the maximum acoustic interaction.
i find it alittle easier on the legs to just reach over the sofa to change the disc or to get a tweak at the volume control.
Put the controls where you want them.
Driving 144 feet with a Krell is no problem - i was being funny, sorry you missed that point, might just be me pwp.
My other point was why do audiophiles creat alters to worship their equipment upon ?
