Can you hear a difference with those expensive receptacles and plugs if you use a AC regenerator like a PS Audio or Exactpower.I guess the plugs after the regenerator should make a difference, but what about the ones before it, do they really matter.
I am using a regular hospital grade receptacle to feed my Exactpower and was wondering if its worth upgrading.

Follow Ups:
Everything I upgraded in front of my P300 improved the sound. Wall outlet and the power cord going to it.
I understand your point of issue and recommend an upgrade. If you replace your Hospital Grade receptacle at the wall with an Audio Grade type and all receptacles/connectors placed downstream of it with Audio Grade AC gear, I think you would find that each connector (and wire) placed in the AC delivery path makes a sonic difference... better, worse, or just 'different'. IME, I have always found sonic betterment via the use of Audio Grade AC gear vs. Hospital Grade AC gear (never regretted an upgrade, yet...).
