    If you want to replace the RCAs that should be easy except you need to determine if the tonearm ground (the middle pin on the DIN) needs to be connected to pin #1 in the XLR.

    Is there an external ground wire coming out of the cable somewhere?

    If you want to change the DIN better off selling it.

    Be careful commericial RCA to XLR adapters internally connect pin #1 to pin #3 which grounds the second balanced input on the Boulder preamp.
