Maybe you want to stick with it.Regarding sources of the EC8020s, I'm afraid, I will have to
frustrate you again. It was a lucky coincidence that Manfred Huber and
myself discovered that tube at a german supplier. We got all he had.
Since then I emailed and phoned lot's of suppliers, but no success.Occasionally some people had luck and discovered some. So my advice
is, keep your eyes open, but be prepared to wait for years. I also
got some on ebay, from a spanish guy. But he seems to have none left.I have a decent stock of this tube, which is intended to keep
my phonostage running for the next decades. So I have none for sale.
However I might consider to trade a few against some other tubes which
I'm looking for. I'm interested in ceramic based 801s. Either the
type with praphite plate from RCA or Amperex, or the metal plate tube
