I hope naked makes this post visible!
If you wouldn't mind clicking below and then on pictures, I have the first in what will be a series of step-by-step pix of re-building the Paramours. I'm using a few dollars worth of "boutique" parts but I'm especially trying for even more attention to good connections and routing.
I hit a major stumbling block with the first filter cap: the Panasonic TSHB's prongs don't lend themselves to "vertical" installation the way the wires on the Nichicons do. So I jammed the prongs thru the crowded terminal 4&5 and rotated the terminal strip. That hides the solder joints and I either have to cross my fingers, set the Panasonics to the deck and run wires from the prongs to the terminals, or re-use the Nichicons.
Advice?
Follow Ups:
I lay the cap flat, insert the pins and solder them, then carefully bend the cap pins to bring the cap to vertical with some needle nose pliers.

.....why naked pictures get airbrushed!
I don't have an airbrush so I'll be cleaning up the wiring as well as changing the electrolytic cap attachments.
That green stuff, BTW, is EAR Isodamp which covers the entire underside of the chassis plate. I don't know if it helps, but it was easy to apply and I figured it couldn't hurt.
