What are the stock 12AT7s on the paramour? They say "GE" on them, but I can't read anymore of the text. They do look NOS. Are they possibly NOS GE 5-stars?

Doc gets 12AT7's for the Paramour (and 12AU7's for the Foreplay) wherever he can, often in lots as small as 10 at a time. They are all tested to work, but may be any brand or type.
Hi Paul. I see now.I was just curious because I'm planning on rolling the 12AT7s and someone is suggesting GE Five Stars... this could be what I already have!
Thanks again,
Parick
They could be JAN 12AT7's if they have the green lettering on them. JAN is a military designation.
The lettering's white... and I can make out the GE logo. Is JAN affiliated with GE?Patrick
'JAN' designates Joint Army Navy, so these were, I assume, made OEM for the military by the big tube makers on those juicy contracts. I've seen the JAN label on Sylvania- and RCA-branded tubes, I don't recall seeing it on "GE tubes" though (but from my understanding RCA and GE labeled tubes were often made in the same factory).Noam
