Another good one lost. Prayers go out to the family.
Matt--go get it done. I had my first done last year at 39, it was no big deal and I was up and going at work the next day.
no big deal???? haha I did call last week to get the name of the specialist, tho...so that's a step... I'll get to it soon.
Hopefully they put you under a fast acting sedative. Last thing I remember is being asked to roll over, followed by waking up in the hall being wheeled to Recovery. Just remember to have somebody else drive you home.
The worst part is the prep work the day before (flushing your system), and you can do all that at home. Do that at least a few hours before sleep so it doesn't interfere.
It's not that bad! I had to do it and I'm still in college.
being sedated and told to roll over? no, it doesn't sound like my cup of tea...but I guess if you guys survived it, I can too. It's a whole lot better than the premature demise, eh? Thanks for the encouragement!
