I hope you will give serious consideration to a USB input What I am looking to do is burn my CDs on to external hard drives and use a computer as a source.Yes I see the villagers lighting there torches and sharpening there pikes but as I have a little time before the castle doors come down.
Why not ? I have my vinyl rig and a pretty good CD/DAC player. And they would still be available for critical listening. But as it is now half the time I can’t find the CD I am looking for without a magnifying glass and a torch . (Were is the angry mob when you need them).I don’t know much about online music, but I do know that it got to be cheaper than making and shipping CD’s and is probably the future.
I just hope that there will be some sort "lossless format.
In the mean time If I had a Hundred CD’s on a drive, I could just hit shuffle.
Wouldn’t that be a hoot.Doc, I bring this up now because I think the time to request something is in the planing stages , not after you have committed to a design…John
