i happened upon some altec 755a's and built the S.E.X. to drive them. the system is in my bedroom where space is of the essence. i'd love to have the room for open baffle or the sealed box on je labs site, but alas the wife might take up residence elsewhere. i cannot find thiele/small specs to help in the decision making process either. my woodworking skills are sufficient to get a bit exotic. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had to give up my altecs for space reasons.I tried them in a small sealed box, but it took the life out of them. I now have the altecs in corner horns, the horns are still very big, but use the corner of the room as the mouth of the horn. Might be worth it to build a smaller version, stick it in the corner and see how it sounds.
I bought a pair of fostex fe103a's on ebay and these thing's are unreal. With the sub set at 100hz, I dont miss a thing, in fact sound better than the altecs.
I also built the recomended fe206e back horns. They are very large, but after my wife heard them she fell in love with em.
If you can, try some fostex.
