I have a couple of questions concerning the Prometheus II system. What is the in-room sensitivity for this system?
What is the maximum SPL this system is capable of (dynamic range)?
What are the sources for premachined baffles and / or finished cabinets?

Thanks for the responses Robert and Tony!Another question: What is the difference between the Prometheus II and the Prometheus Air Force II?
Hi Steve, there are differences between the U.S.- version and the European version of Prometheus MKII Airforce, to give you the right answer i need to know where you live.
There will be changes inbetween the product- lines for the U.S. and Europe later this year for equalisation.Regards

in which countries is the Promethius 11 in use for weathewr and communication purposes
Hi Robert:I live in the USA. Thanks for your response.
Hi Steve, the U.S.- Prometheus MKII AF- kit includes two woofers, two plate- amps, two widebands, two tweeters, two wooden horns, internal cabling, caps, rsistors and small parts, the Gemini- tweeters are extra.
In springtime all speaker kit- contents and prices will be equalized worldwide, also there will be an official pricing for baffle- section or woofer- section separately.Regards

Hi Steve, I have a couple of baffle sets that are available at a reduced cost from custom. I can send photos if you wish. You can check my work out at the link below. There is also a link to more photos at my website. Go to the Prometheus page and there is a link there. Thanks for your interest in the Bastanis speakers. Also, we have reps in New Jersey, Los Angeles, Phoenix and my dealership in Albuquerque. I have a customer in San Diego that would be happy to show you the speakers as well.

Hi Steve, the in-room sensitivity depends a little to the room- size, placement of the o.b.`s and if the room has lots of damping or reflecting surfaces. The bandwidht of efficiency is between 98Db/8 Ohms in-room in the worst case and 102Db/8 Ohms in-room.
The max. dynamics depends on the signal, with music the max. dynamics is limited by the two 12"- woofers, so the midrange sounds relaxed and uncompressed at highest possible levels. In common sized rooms the max. level is limited by the ear and not by the baffles! When you have a very big room and listen at live rock-concert levels you can add two more woofers or choose Atlas, the 15"- woofers of Atlas offer an always satisfying dynamic- range, even in big rooms.
Inside the U.S. you get cabinets and assembeled speakers from www.Audiospecialitiesofnm or from www.baulsaudio.com . Inside Europe Cabinets are available from my woodworker, you also can contact me for assembling. In case that you fear the woodwork you also may ask your local woodshop for cabinets, this saves the money for shipping the cabinets which can be expensive to foreign countries.
