My friend has been given a quote for an used AN-E speaker, but he can't find the details of what insides
Speaker with plywood cabinet, labelled as AN-E SPe SE, 94.5dB, non-hemp and with internal crossover
What exactly is the "SPe SE" more than the normal SPe version?

This is the single-ended version of the speaker (vs the push-pull).

I don't know.

Actually, it probably means 'standard efficiency', as opposed to HE (high efficiency - the 98 dB/W version).

Getting the complete AN/E suffix alphabet soup straight does take a few weeks of full-time study.
