That was fantastic. I can tell you how those magic 8w can run those speaker in thems condition. Before your decide, you have try in yours
system.
Nice search,

Dear pro_ac628 (A),Yes, ewerything you sad and supose about 300b is twice much, then you expect !
When I decide to go on 300B I now that will be A.Note. Try to contact Brian from A.Note-KIT and he will help you with all about miss understanding.
Thrust me about 300B + the real, natural: timber, resolution, mycro macro, soundscape wide dynamic etc.
But before your decide, plese contact someone alse and try 300B in your
system.
I've tried all sorts of amps includign some £5k upwards. I think there is little to challenge the ANK1. I'm not familiar with those speakers, I use Lowthers. I also use Western Electric 300B valves. Lifelike, emotional, involving, breathtaking, powerful, airy ...
The main question would be how you plan to use the ANK1. As an integrated, with a single line input and using the volume pot on the ANK1, the sound is particularly pure, airy, realistic, perhaps lacking a little weight and authority. When used in conjunction with a top preamp and bypassing the volume pot (ie as a power amp) it's simply stunning !
I've had many people tell me that neither Lowthers nor WE300B can produce bass - well, come to Yorkshire and I'll prove you wrong !
