nice & congrat!my hardwired analog board looks like crap compared to yours, but it works, still cannot believe I didnt do anything wrong with that board other than I completely omitted the 330ohm IV resistors. Funny I thought they were already installed in the IV cans, and it took me a week to figure that out.
It may be worthwhile to put the blackgates in power supply too at this stage. So that you dont have to break it in twice :).

Thanks for the details description of the DAC 2.1! I'm waiting for this DAC w/ the USB option and it sounds like my wait is over!BTW, you mentioned you are surprised by the performance of the USB input (with your Dell PC as the "transport"). Would you mind to give us more details? Compare to the COAX SPDIF input what are the differences in terms of sound qualities? TIA!
