Brian,This forum is a great idea!
Now all you need are some courses on dreamweaver for your website!
Just to let you know, allow with the kit1 and preamp, I am considering the kit3 speakers.
How much you selling the cabinet pieces for, btw?

Hi Mark,
Glad to see you are browsing through the web site !- I keep adding to it each day. I have not priced up the flat packed speaker cabinets as of yet. I have to consult with my carpenter but it may be in the $500 range. The raw materials are almost a third and there is a fair bit of work and tools required to make the correct cuts. The speakers need to be built to exact specifications. How did you like the pics?
I did indeed. Thanks a lot. Helps me get an idea of what is involved.
Are those pictures of you building that signature kit1? Your face if of agony LOL. Nice job on the new look though. It definately looks a lot better than the old kit.
Regarding the kit3 speakers, what cable they come with? On HiFicollective.com, they were advertising it including LX cable rather than the regular D. How much wiring is required for both speakers anyways? I might upgrade the inner cabling down the road.
Hi Mark,
Its been some time since you enquired about AN kits.
Which kit have you assembled so far.

Hi Chris,
Good to hear from you.
I actually havent assembled anything yet. Brian is currently ordering in some more transformers so it will be another week or 2 before he is ready.
Hi Mark,
Brian is getting all my other upgrades for my Kit1, and
an upgraded Kit for the pre-amp. Should get some word in a
few days, I hope. I just changed to an AT-ART1 moving coil
cartridge. The sound it produce through AN and B&W are awesome.
Thinking of getting Northcreek crossover upgrades.

Sorry Chris, I'm relatively new to HiFi, so I know nothing about how good the AT-ART1 is nor know anything about Northcreek Crossovers. However, seeing that you mentioned them it must be great. I'm thinking I will start with the basic kits now, then if I am pleased with the kits I will get all the upgrades. Also heavily considering the speaker kit 3: silver coils with high efficiency (98dB or something). I have found someone to help me build the standard cabinet plus I'll add on some real wood veneering later (maybe Indian Rosewood) then the finishing will be done by my dad's friend who does cabinet finishing for a living: lacquer and stuff I guess. The end product will probably cost a good couple hundred more, but will look terrific if it works out.
