Still looking for a new amp, decided against the Magtech. I am interested in hearing from anyone who has heard or has experience with this amp. I am only interested in this particular Bryston amp, not their other ones or any other brand at the moment.

Follow Ups:
I bought it replacing a Forte'4a amp.
One reason was I went for Magnepan speakers, and everyone (well almost everyone) said Bryston amps are the one you want with Magnepans.
So I auditioned a few brands at my dealer and liked the 4B-SST²
Some cranks say the Bryston is not good sounding. Well, maybe back in the ST days... When they went to SST Bryston got a lot better.
I would buy another Bryston amp any day.
Maybe not the BP-26 I own.. But the amp? Hell yeah.
you do not like the BP-26 pre-amp? Why?
The BP-26 is fine. IMO the combo of BP-26 and 4B-SST² has too much gain..
The volume is never over 9 O'Clock on the dial. (which really is the fault of digital 2 volt stuff)
And I have to say I do not like the phono box to mate to the BP-26 (for $2,500).
I like the phono in a ARC Sp-15 I own and use just for the phono section, a hell of a lot more than the separate Bryston phono. The Bryston phono just sounds thin. BUT I have not listened to it recently.. though it is plugged in 100% of the time. I just got a new cable which solved a bit of the thin sound of my whole system.. So I should try the Bryston phono box again before I trash it so badly. LOLAt this point I would buy an Audio Research Sp-20 in a heartbeat over the Bryston BP-26
Yes the ARC is a little more money.. but I would be happy to spend it.

Keep me posted -Smelly.
What don't you like?
I'm still using the Odyssey stereo Stratos extreme. I still like the amp, just looking for something better.

I bet your systems sounds great. I'd beware a lateral change.
The system sounds fantastic. I was thinking of giving my Stratos amp to my son and getting something better. Believe it or not, the speakers would benefit with more power and the Bryston is supposed to really reach down to the subterranean levels in the bass. The highs have been called sweet by a couple of reviewers, With this in mind, what do you think?

I, too, am interested in this new series from Bryston.
Especially, the B-135 integrated.
You should check to make sure, but I believe the B-135 is not the cubed power section found in the new separates.
Thanks! for sharing- gordguide
